01 Who we are

ClickMason ("we", "us") is a website design and paid advertising studio. This policy covers clickmason.in and any emails we exchange with you through it.

For anything about your personal information, write to sandesh@clickmason.in. That address is also our contact for privacy requests and complaints.

02 What we collect

What you tell us

When you send the free audit form or email us, we receive the details you give: your name, business, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, website address, what you need, and any message. Please don't put sensitive information such as health, financial account or ID numbers in the message box.

How you found us

If you arrive from an ad or a link, we record the campaign tags in the address (such as utm_source and utm_campaign), any ad click ID (such as gclid or fbclid), the page you landed on, and the website that sent you. We keep your first visit and your latest visit, and attach them to your enquiry so we know which marketing worked.

How you use the site

Once our analytics tools are switched on, they record pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, device and browser type, and your approximate location (city level). Our servers and providers also process your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure.

03 Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry, prepare your free audit and send you a confirmation email.
  • To understand which ads and pages bring enquiries, and to improve the site.
  • To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.
  • To meet legal and tax obligations if you become a client.

We use the details you submit because you gave them to us for this purpose. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see "Your rights and choices"). We only use your email to reply to you; we don't add you to a newsletter unless you ask.

04 Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and the business, and only for that purpose:

  • Google (Workspace, Gmail and Google Sheets): stores your enquiry and sends and receives our emails.
  • Cloudflare: hosts and protects the website.
  • Analytics and advertising tools that we use or may switch on: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag. They receive usage data and, for ad measurement, a signal that an enquiry was made and which service you picked. They never receive your name, email or message.

We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it to others only if the law requires, or with your permission.

05 Cookies and similar tools

Our analytics and advertising tools may set cookies or use similar technologies to recognise a browser between visits. Microsoft Clarity records anonymised sessions (clicks, mouse movement and scrolling) to show us where visitors struggle, and we configure it to mask what you type into forms.

The site also saves your campaign tags in your browser's local and session storage, so we can tell which ad led to an enquiry. You can block cookies and clear stored data in your browser settings; the site still works without them.

06 How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete or anonymise them. If you become a client, we keep the records the law requires us to keep (for example, invoices) for as long as it requires. Analytics data is kept for the period set in each tool, which we set to the shortest practical one.

07 Where it is processed

Our providers run services in several countries, including the United States, so your information may be processed outside India. We choose established providers and rely on their security and data protection commitments.

08 How we protect it

Enquiries are stored in a private Google account that only we can open, and the site is delivered over an encrypted connection. We limit who can see enquiries and keep tools up to date. No system is perfectly secure, so if we ever find out your information has been exposed in a way that affects you, we will tell you.

09 Your rights and choices

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information of yours we hold and what we do with it;
  • correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
  • delete your information;
  • stop using it, or withdraw consent you gave earlier.

Email sandesh@clickmason.in from the address you used, and we'll respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operating for complaints, or to the relevant authority where you live.

10 Children

This site is for businesses and is not aimed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think we have, tell us and we'll delete it.

11 Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes affecting people who have already contacted us, we will also email them.
